The slowest paced group with average speed well under 11 mph. Primarily a social group with lots of chit-chat & banter, with the actual cycling of slightly lesser importance. Lots of stops to admire the views etc. & due to the varied abilities of the riders, quite a few stops for catch-up, especially on hills. Usually stop for either a picnic or a leisurely lunch in a cafe/pub, but some do prefer just to take sandwiches all the time.

Tuesdays:  meet @ The Obelisk, Greyfriars, Shrewsbury – 10:00

This group is the fastest/strongest group & probably does longer & more hilly rides than the others – this group also takes its riding a bit more seriously. The average speed varies & is likely to be around 11 to 12 mph. Minimum number of stops. Usually stop for lunch in a cafe/pub.

Wednesdays:  meet @ Brooklands or Asda Car Park, Shrewsbury – normally 10:00
